Roundtable on Health Disparities.
Although there has been much attention to ideas for reducing health disparities at the national and international levels, it may be at the state and local levels that the most potential exists. This workshop will highlight state and local initiatives to reduce racial and ethnic health disparities. More specifically, the workshop will:
• Highlight successful state and local programs
• Present ideas for successful cross-sectorial partnerships
• Describe promising practices across state and local efforts
• Discuss strategies for determining success at the state and local levels.
