Interpersonal Dispositions Survey

Page One
The practice of counseling is an art and a science where the interpersonal style of the counselor is a critical variable in the therapeutic encounter. The LSUS MSCP Program has clear guidelines for assessing academic competencies and the use of the Interpersonal Dispositions Survey (IDS) provides a systematic means for evaluating such competencies as one’s openness to learning, the constructive giving and receiving of feedback, and openness to differing viewpoints and worldviews.
