2009 Emerging Leaders International Fellows Program & U.S. Diversity Fellowships 

Dear Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in the Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society's 2009 Emerging Leaders International Fellows Program and US Diversity Fellowships.

The deadline for applying to the spring 2009 Fellows Program has expired.  The Center is no longer considering applications from overseas applicants for the spring 2009 program.

The deadline for applying to the spring 2009 U.S. Diversity Fellowships has been extended to December 1, 2008.

To apply to the program, please complete and submit this online application form.  Before submitting this form, you will be asked to upload the following documents which are required as part of your application packet:

1.  Curriculum vitae 
2.  Research proposal on community foundations (or corporate or diaspora philanthropy), questions to be addressed in the research, and the anticipated methodology (3-5 pages)
3.  Personal statement explaining what you seek to accomplish during the program and how the fellowship would enhance your career plans (maximum 2 pages in length)

If you are unable to upload these documents, you may e-mail them as attachments to
cpcs@gc.cuny.edu.

A complete application package must include two (2) letters of reference, signed by the referee and on original letterhead.  Please request from your referees that they send the letters via fax to 212.817.1572 or via e-mail as PDF, JPEG or TIF attachments to cpcs@gc.cuny.edu.  The letters should be addressed to:
