. Merci!
Food Secure Canada (FSC) works to unite people and organizations working for food security in Canada and globally. We use research, policy development, alliances and capacity building, education, outreach and advocacy to achieve our vision:
Zero Hunger,
A Sustainable Food System,
Healthy and Safe Food
Please take a few minutes to help us set priorities and strategic directions. Please focus more on the future, considering what will change Canada’s food system over the next five years, than on current opportunities.
How will Food Secure Canada use the strategic directions
?
Priorities for pursuing projects and allocating resources
Priorities for relationship or membership building
Criteria for assessing requests for partnerships and participation from others
Criteria for what to monitor to evaluate our progress
Who are you asking?
We are asking Food Secure Canada members plus organizations involved in food security in Canada who are not FSC members. In addition to this survey, we are seeking input through interviews and gatherings of food security organizations.
Please help us by distributing the link to this survey to other organizations. Discuss these questions at your meetings and in your networks . Even if you have already completed the survey as an individual or on behalf of a single group, you can complete the survey again on behalf of a group, or email your comments to
fscadmin@foodsecurecanada.org
.
The online survey will remain open until Nov. 10, 2009.
What will happen to my answers?
Your answers will remain confidential and no identifying information will be shared. The steering committee of FSC will propose strategic directions informed by your answers. At the FSC annual assembly, held by teleconference and over the internet on Nov. 10, 2009, 12 – 1:30 ET, the results of this survey and proposed directions will be presented for discussion by FSC members. If you would like to participate or know more about the Nov. 10 event, please email
