Thank you for agreeing to participate in this study on the financial management practices and attitudes of dental hygienists. If you are a Registered Dental Hygienist practicing in the United States, we invite you to participate before December 15, 2009.
The purpose of this study is to assess the current state of financial management practices among dental hygienists in the U.S., specifically concerning their attitudes and priorities about saving for their future. You will be asked questions about your financial management behaviors and attitudes. Some questions also will address your retirement plans and confidence in your financial security.
As dental hygiene professionals, we know that detailed assessment can lead to better treatment outcomes. This survey will ask you to assess your own financial situation. By assessing the profession as a whole, we stand to positively impact our own financial futures, and those of new professionals entering the field.
We know your time is important and we greatly appreciate your participation. The survey consists of six sections which should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. Your participation is completely voluntary and anonymous. Completion of the survey implies consent to be a subject in the study. No identifying information will be collected or connected to your survey responses in this research.
